It is monsoon down here in Kerala and here I am sitting, thinking of writing an article about the Spiral Table Runner I crocheted from U.A.E a few months before (now came down to Kerala for vacation). I found this pattern in Pinterest a year ago and wanted to make it since. But each time I take my hook, I end up crocheting something else.
This pattern is inspired from Nev Design and I made little changes for my convenience. They have their own Youtube Channel and with great difficulty I somehow followed the instructions.(I dont have the slightest idea in which language they are speaking!)
For the big 3 circles, I followed the standard pattern (here) whereas Nev Design has done alternative single and double crochet. I really struggled to follow the video for the small flower, but somehow managed to crochet it. It took a little while for me to sew the circles and flowers together using sewing needle and thread (not so experienced with this part!)
So right now this is in my mom’s kitchen here in Kerala on the Snack Table (Folding Table) from Ikea. She loved it when I sent her the photo and asked me to bring it along.
