Lay out & Joining
Choose a layout and join the squares using invisible seam joining method. Click here for the tutorial.

Border

With brown yarn, standing single crochet in any stitch. Single crochet through out the border. Make 3sc in the 4 corner spaces. Sl St to the beginning sc. Repeat the same with grey yarn.
Tip: sc2tog where the granny squares meets. This would give a flatter edge.
Back Panel
I prefer to sew fabric to the back panel.

Cut the fabric as shown below. Fold and sew the borders.
Overlap and join the two fabric pieces in such a way that it measures 40cm length wise.

Keep both the fabric and crochet piece with the right side facing each other. Hand sew it together.

Flip it. And Viola! Your Solid Granny Square Cushion is ready!
